I have lived with a pregnant sister. For nine months, I have lived with a pregnant sister. For nine long, painstaking, aggravating months, I have lived with a VERY pregnant sister. Today, I found out she’s not pregnant.
Anymore.
Little Mollie Elisabeth was born today, at 3:34 A.M. She has got to be the MOST ADORABLE baby I have ever seen (even though I haven’t seen that many babies in my short existence on this Earth…). She has the bluest eyes I have ever seen, the tiniest hands, and the most lovable face.
Okay, I know I haven’t posted in… forever…. sorry about that…
Well, now that we’re past that, on to the fun stuff!! I got this awesome little widget from Widgetbox.com! These little things have begun to pop up around the internet, I’ve noticed. I have a ‘Sonic the Hedgehog’ game underneath my sidebar. Sweet, huh?
I need to refrain from getting all the widgets I want on here. Computers will probably lock up if I get all the games I’m wishing for…
Oh boy, am I happy!!
I have nothing to write about. Nothing really cool happened at school, and lunch was nothing special either- greasy soyburgers. Oh, right, I know they call them hamburgers, but they can’t fool me. I know a soyburger when I taste one, and the fact that it’s school food doesn’t really make it taste very appetizing. However, I have learned to appreciate ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise packets. If you have enough of those, you can actually cover the flavor.
Now that you know how to disguise the flavor of school food, I’m off!!
I found a really cool game recently called Cursor. In this game your goal is simple: Click the stairs to go up a level. You win when you get to level 16. Sounds simple, huh? The thing is, you have 10 cursors. Whenever your cursor’s time runs out, you go to another one. The screen then remembers all your previous cursors, playing them at the same time you are trying to win. It is a REALLY cool game. I probably made it sound more confusing than it really is. Sorry about that, I kinda stink at explaining things.
I cannot tell you about any fascinating sites I’ve found. I cannot tell you about this great page, because I haven’t found any. This is because the Internet connection at our house is being stupid. Well the Internet connection at our house is partly controlled by the weather. Lately the weather has gone sour and it has been nothing but rain, clouds covering the sky like a blanket, and fog. This means anytime we want to look at a site and the connection stinks we have to reset it. Although resetting it means pulling the plug and put it in again, this gets tiresome the 53 millionth time.
Sigh.
This quiz game thing is SO annoying. Located HERE, it claims to prove that chimpanzees can remember better than humans. It flashes some numbers at you for about one second, then all you see is white boxes where the numbers were. You are supposed to click the ‘numbers’(now white boxes) in numerical order. MY problem is not with my memory, it is with SEEING them all at once. Ten numbers randomly placed on a black screen and flashed at you for about one second is not my idea of an unbiased test.
This is a really cool, very addicting game called ‘White Dwarf’. In this game you are the little white dot. Your aim is to collect as many of the green dots that are floating around as possible. To collect them, you simply let them stick to your cursor. You guide your little white dot over to the green dots and they just stick. No clicking involved! (Sorry. I know I’m a bit easily amused and distracted, hehe…) As soon as you see a little BLUE dot, you guide your green-dot-filled cursor and touch it. All of your pretty green dots disappear. In their place, you get points. But, whatever you do, don’t touch the red dots. You lose the game.
By the way, my high score was 10032!! See if you can beat it!!
I find it amazing how it is usually the least complicated games that are the most addicting. HERE is the link. Unfortunately, no color-blind person could play it… Still a really cool game, though. Have fun!
Yay!! I am REALLY a happy person because I finally was able to get a counter for this blog, so I can see how many people are really looking at this blog.
I got the little purple dragon counter (located in the sidebar underneath the blogroll) from Boingdragon.com. It is a site where you sign up, log in, and are able to choose which counter you want from several types. Then, once you have your type picked out, you decide stuff like what color you want it it be, where you want the numbers, etc. It is really cool!!
As for the Spank Google sign, my dad made it, for a reason which escapes my mind at this moment. He also included a rather lengthy post about why he made it, located HERE.
By the way, the purple dragon’s name is Flame.
Sigh.
Nothing has happened today at all. I woke up, contemplated getting coffee, decided against it, made my bed, and got dressed. I have not run into some fabulously amazing website to show you. I’ve decided not to bore you with another ad for Neopets. I haven’t been on Neopets today, even. My grandma’s oven broke. I guess that might be momentarily interesting. Maybe. I’m still tired. Maybe I should go to bed. I didn’t go to bed until late last night. Bed… a faraway dreamland… snnnnooooooorrrreee…….. Huh? What? Where? Oh, sorry. Yep, I’m pretty bored. Are you bored? Go to Neopets. Sign up and hang out there.
Awhile back I mentioned a really cool site called Freerice.com that helps people by donating 20 grains of rice for every synonym you answer correctly. It gives you a word, then gives you a choice of four words. Your job is to click on the synonym of the first word.
Well, while searching through the internet I ran across a site that gives you a trivia question, and for every one you get right, they give the equivalent of one kibble of pet food to help feed abandoned, and often mistreated, dogs and cats. This is a REALLY COOL SITE called Experienceproject.com. As usual the link is the word. Help the dogs! Help the cats! Learn stuff!
